Armando – A Life of Resilience and Reinvention
Born in Ecuador, raised first in Denmark, then a second time in Ecuador, and a third time in New York, Armando’s life reflects adaptability and strength shaped by diverse cultures. Gifted in mathematics, he studied in Cambridge, England, and Madrid, Spain, developing a disciplined and curious mind.
At sixteen, he achieved perfect Air Force test scores and later completed nine months of service, followed by business training as a buyer. In the United States, he built a multifaceted career spanning engineering, healthcare, teaching, and union leadership.
A gold medalist in the Junior Olympics and international boxing champion, Armando has also completed five marathons and over 400 half marathons—a lasting symbol of his endurance and determination.
So help me God. May good fortune, peace, and compassion bless all people on our planet Earth.
